Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 3 - Electromagnetic Environmental Effects E3 to oversee the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) team within the SET Specialty Engineering directorate. This position may be located in Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. The Sentinel E3 Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the E3 specific technical tasking as defined in the program Statement of Work (SOW) or as assigned by the Director of Specialty Engineering. Areas of responsibility include EMI, EMC, ESD, Spectrum Management and TEMPEST. The E3 Manager will have responsibility for the quality and technical execution of a team of 30-40 engineers. This role works closely with program leadership, technical leaders, business management, the engineering homeroom and directly with the customer. This position requires experience in systems engineering technical work, and experience with leading technical teams over a broad range of tasks including design, implementation, test, verification, reporting and scheduling. The successful candidate must have the ability to lead teams in a fluid environment, encouraging teamwork with our Customer, NGC teams and suppliers to meet program objectives. A high degree of skill in critical decision making is imperative to perform in this environment. A working knowledge of ground-based deterrence systems is desirable.
