About The Position

As a CACI Sensitive Activities Advisor, you will support the Department of Defense and the USSOCOM Enterprise in identifying, characterizing, and countering WMD and Irregular Warfare threat networks capable of threatening U.S. national security and Integrated Deterrence objectives through the use of conventional and improvised weapons of strategic effect. You will embed with and advise U.S. Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC), coordinating with Theater and Combatant Commands and interagency partners at all echelons. You will advise on effectively leveraging specially compartmented material and non-material capabilities, including cyber, technology, HUMINT, and other techniques, to identify, characterize, and counter WMD and Irregular Warfare threats and the networks that employ them. You will provide subject matter expertise to Combatant Commands, SOCOM, and their joint task forces while maintaining situational awareness of applicable Special Access Programs, Special Technical Operations, ACCM, sensitive activity plans and operations, units, and friendly and adversary capabilities. The position is regular, full-time, requires a current TS/SCI clearance, and may involve travel and deployments. The approved salary range is listed as $120,000–$160,000 depending on education, experience, and location; a separate proposed range is listed as $67,800–$142,200.

Requirements

Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
Willingness to submit to a CI polygraph.
More than three years of specialized experience in military or intelligence-community compartmented sensitive activities, or cyber experience (e.g., IJSTO, SAP, ACCM).
Ability to deploy to the required theater of operations, including periodic travel within CONUS and four-month deployments to OCONUS locations.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Associate degree and five years of experience, or seven years of relevant work experience.
Willingness to work rotating shifts if needed.

Nice To Haves

More than three years of experience with SOF, SMU, or special or technical units of Federal, State, or local law enforcement.
Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), including mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents, and FRAGOs.
Familiarity with offensive and defensive cyber applications.
Working knowledge of USSOCOM, the interagency/intelligence community, and the DOD Sensitive Activities enterprise.
Experience and capability using Microsoft productivity software and applications.
Practical understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, and web-based intelligence tools and databases available through SIPR and JWICS.
Ability to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

Responsibilities
