Senior/Data Scientist/Computational Scientist, Mass Spectrometry Proteomics

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated Computational Biologist with substantial experience in mass spectrometry informatics to join their Data Science team in Boston. The successful candidate will lead methods development for mass-spectrometry-based chemical screens data analysis, working in close collaboration with scientists from chemical biology group actively contributing to research, methods development, and experimental design. The role requires a Ph.D. in a quantitative scientific field and 2+ years of professional experience, as well as a strong record of achievement, including publications in high-impact journals, and strong coding skills, fluency in using Python and/or R for complex data analysis.

• Analyze data from high-throughput chemical libraries/proteome interactions screens
• Build and perfect informatics pipeline for mass spectrometry-based proteomics
• Work in close collaboration with computational chemists, structural biologists, and machine learning experts to make computational drug design a reality.
