About The Position

Collibra is hiring a Senior Workday Analyst to join its People Solutions team. The role focuses on developing the People Technology environment beyond basic SaaS administration by building automations and agentic workflow prototypes, managing Workday configuration and security, and improving People Operations processes. The position offers room to grow into broader ownership over time and reports to the Senior Manager, People Solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Collibra’s Raleigh office. Employees work from the office at least two days each week. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The standard base salary range is $100,000–$120,000 per year, with no additional commission-based compensation. Collibra also describes a total rewards package that may include bonus potential, equity for eligible roles, a monthly Flex Fund stipend, pension/401k plans, health coverage, and time off. Salary offers are based on factors including experience, skills, and location.

Requirements

Hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes.
Experience building Workday reports or calculated fields, or a strong aptitude to develop this skill quickly.
Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Copilot to solve business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
Ability to translate technical configuration changes for non-technical business partners.
Proactive approach to data integrity and sound judgment with ambiguous configuration requests.
Clear, collaborative communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice To Haves

Workday security architecture experience; candidates ready to grow into this area are also considered.
Experience with an iPaaS or automation tool such as Workato.
Experience with an applicant tracking system such as Greenhouse or a similar system.
Interest in building with tools such as Claude and Workato and finding automation opportunities beyond the immediate team.
Eagerness to grow from a strong Workday foundation into broader ownership.

Responsibilities

Build automations and agentic workflow prototypes connecting Workday, an applicant tracking system, and other People Technology systems, using tools such as Workato and Claude.
Own Workday business process configuration and security group architecture, including periodic access reviews and segregation-of-duties checks.
Develop Workday reports and calculated fields that provide stakeholders with actionable, trustworthy data.
Partner with People and Places, IT, and other teams to troubleshoot complex configuration and data issues.
Test and deploy new functionality while protecting existing functionality.
Prototype automations for People Operations processes, such as talent acquisition or onboarding, to reduce manual work.
Complete onboarding and training in the Workday, ATS, and Workato environment; shadow existing automations and configuration work.
Progress toward independently handling configuration and reporting requests and taking on growing ownership of business process and security scope.
