TEKsystems•Cape Canaveral, FL
•$140,000 - $170,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Senior Wire Harness Design Engineer will architect and independently implement complete wiring systems for large-platform autonomous marine vessel programs serving defense and military customers. The role owns electrical and physical/mechanical design inputs for wire harness systems, including selection of wires and connectors, pin-out definition, shielding strategies, and physical accommodations for harsh marine environments. It requires producing and interpreting complex technical documentation, maintaining strong configuration control and change-management discipline, and communicating design decisions across engineering, program, and manufacturing stakeholders. The engineer will apply aerospace-grade process rigor while working across diverse product challenges rather than one repeatable platform. The position is described as permanent and fully onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The posting also says the role is located in Austin, Texas and requires non-local candidates to be willing to relocate, creating conflicting location information. The listed annual pay range is $140,000–$170,000.
