NOTE: This role is 5 days onsite supporting our Banking client in Fairfield, CA. As a Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. You’ll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance. FIS’ Systematics Account Team supporting our client works onsite with our client providing technology support services for key areas supporting their business objectives. Our team is comprised of both tenured FIS senior level subject matter experts and experts that are relatively new to the FIS family. Our team works closely with each other and with our client partners without the classic vendor/client barriers. We are one team working towards successfully achieving common business goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in administration, management, upgrade implementations of Exchange.
  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware.
  • Build server system and install applications.
  • Experience with storage management, TCP/IP, system monitoring and tools.
  • Experience with SCCM patching tools.
  • Hypervisor experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Specific knowledge/expertise in administering the following: Exchange Administration OS: MS Windows Server, Linux Hardware: NetApp, Nutanix, HP Servers, HP StoreOnce Hypervisors: Hyper-V, AOS SQL Server Administration Domino Notes Server Administration Backup Systems: HYCU, Veeam

Responsibilities

  • Exchange administration.
  • Supporting multiple environments.
  • Perform backup restorations for users.
  • Troubleshoot issues escalated from 1st and 2nd level user support helpdesks.
  • Proposing and implementing system and procedural enhancements.
  • Monitoring system usage and performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Document implementations for knowledge transfer.
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades.
  • Project manage and lead solo projects and/or with a team.
  • Mentor more junior system administrators in the team.
