About The Position

Cimarron is seeking a Senior GNOSC Watch Officer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area. This role involves leading a watch team in supporting high-profile Flight Tests (FTs), Ground Tests (GTs), and joint military exercises. The Senior Watch Officer will oversee shift-level incident management, ensure rapid coordination and communication using the RACI framework, and manage key technical escalations up to Executive Management and Government decision-makers.

Requirements

Access to federal facilities.
Possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card.
Active Secret Clearance.
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security + CE, CySA, etc.).
4 or more years of full-time work experience (may be reduced with advanced education).
2 or more years of directly related/progressive experience, with at least 1 year in a Network Operations Center (NOC), Security Operations Center (SOC), or closely related 24/7 mission-support environment.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of the ITIL framework, particularly Incident, Problem, Change, and Continual Service Improvement processes.
Experience with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) inspection processes.
Hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux/UNIX environments in a large enterprise, including working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server (2012/2016/2019), EMC Storage, and SCCM Patch Management.
Solid foundation in network design, implementation, and routing/switching, including configuring firewalls, routers, switches, and cryptographic devices.
Practical experience with DISA-mandated security tools (e.g., Assured Compliance Assessment Solution [ACAS], Host Based Security System [HBSS]), analyzing vulnerability scans, and formulating compliance reports.
Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) authentication and Information Security best practices in a secure government network environment.
