Senior Warehouse Associate - Special Projects
About The Position
Wesco is hiring an experienced Senior Warehouse Associate for its distribution facility. The role performs assigned warehouse and operations tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and housekeeping in assigned areas. It may also involve counter sales, cycle counting, and related quality assurance activities. The associate verifies and receipts purchased products in the system, sorts orders and places materials in appropriate locations, prepares materials for shipment, assists with truck loading, assembles and disassembles warehouse fixtures, and performs special customer quality assurance inspections. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wesco offers training and development opportunities, educational assistance, and a benefits package that may include paid time off, insurance coverage, and retirement savings plans. Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into the system.
- Separate orders and place materials in proper locations.
- Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment.
- Assist in loading trucks.
- Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables.
- Perform special customer quality assurance inspections.
- Perform assigned warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and housekeeping of assigned areas.
- May perform counter sales, cycle counting, and related quality assurance activities.
