About The Position

The Senior VLSI ASIC Logic Design Engineer designs, analyzes, develops, modifies, and evaluates VLSI components and hardware systems. The role determines architecture and logic design, develops software for design verification through component and system simulation, and builds physical implementations, including complex integrated-circuit layouts. It analyzes designs, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results to support prototype and production VLSI solutions. The engineer may direct support personnel in detailed design, testing, and prototype fabrication. This role provides advanced technical expertise and leadership across all stages of VLSI design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms, including design, validation, and testing. It contributes technical expertise, architecture design, and platform leadership to cross-organization projects and may lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff. The position is hybrid, with an average of two days per week working from an HPE office.
