About The Position

Tier One Partners is looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Vice President, Public Relations to join our Boston leadership team. This is a high-impact role for a proven business builder, strategic advisor, and team leader ready to own and grow a portfolio of client relationships while helping shape the future of the agency. You'll play a defining role at a nationally recognized agency-working alongside a senior leadership team, shaping strategy, and building meaningful client partnerships in industries transforming the world.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in PR, marketing, or integrated communications
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships and large accounts
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams and complex programs
  • Strong new business track record (pitching and closing)
  • Expertise in one or more sectors: technology, digital health, fintech, or energy tech
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of client accounts, meeting revenue and profitability targets
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, delivering high-impact counsel
  • Lead integrated communications strategies across PR, content, and digital
  • Ensure delivery excellence, team alignment, and strong client satisfaction
  • Oversee account planning, budgets, forecasting, and performance
  • Identify and drive organic growth opportunities
  • Lead new business efforts, including pipeline development, pitches, and proposals
  • Build and activate a strong professional network to generate opportunities
  • Contribute to agency visibility through thought leadership and industry engagement
  • Partner with senior leadership on overall growth strategy
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams
  • Contribute to agency-wide strategy and operations as part of senior leadership
  • Lead or co-own key internal initiatives (e.g., talent, innovation, new business)
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance culture
  • Champion modern marketing approaches, including AI-driven strategies
