About The Position

The Senior Vice President (SVP), Military Affairs & Strategic Partnerships, is the principal leader responsible for orchestrating and aligning Navy Federal Credit Union’s (NFCU) enterprise-wide engagement with the Department of War (DoW), Veterans Affairs (VA), and affiliated military communities. This role functions as a convening architect, bringing together internal stakeholders and external partners across Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Public Policy, Community Affairs, Military Affairs, the Office of Financial Opportunity, and strategic veterans and military partnerships. The primary focus is on cultivating, expanding, and stewarding NFCU’s impact with the DoW and VA, while simultaneously serving as the strategic integrator of broader military-aligned relationships that drive long-term value for service members, veterans, and their families.

Requirements

Senior leadership experience in military affairs or strategic partnerships.
Experience engaging with government entities such as the Department of War (DoW) and Veterans Affairs (VA).
Proven ability to convene and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and ability to drive long-term value.
Understanding of the needs of service members, veterans, and their families.
