About The Position

The Legal Entity Accounting Controllership team is a critical part of Antares that leads the preparation, review, and delivery of financial statements and regulatory filings across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. The SVP of Legal Entity Accounting drives transformation and mentors a high-performing team. Our ideal candidate is independent, motivated, detail‐oriented and able to analyze data and convey conclusions effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting and accounting; in-house investment company accounting GL booking and reporting preferred but not required.
  • Experience managing audits and regulatory filings
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, DFIN)
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities
  • Experience supporting capital markets or unsecured offerings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office software (WSO) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including MD&A
  • Manage monthly financial close and intercompany eliminations
  • Ensure all entries are booked to the correct legal entities in accordance with Investment Advisory agreements and as expected in budget
  • Review key transactions during months & quarters with the business to ensure recorded correctly
  • Liaise with external auditors; ensure all reviews and audits are completed timely
  • Prepare monthly internal management schedules (e.g., assets under management)
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing
  • Own and maintain dimensionality in OneStream and DFIN
  • Support legal and capital solutions teams with unsecured offerings. Manage all deliverables needed from financial perspective
  • Maintain a strong internal control framework
  • Evaluate and improve financial processes
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the financial reporting and general ledger booking team
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Operations, and Investor Reporting
  • Contribute to transformation projects
  • Manage approval process around financial data included in key external presentations from Investor Relations and Marketing
