Churchill Asset Management is seeking an experienced mergers and acquisitions attorney to represent Churchill and its affiliated entities and managed accounts as investors in direct equity co-investments and private equity secondary transactions. The role generally oversees external counsel during transactions and may independently handle portfolio management and other transactional matters. Churchill’s accounts include affiliated and unaffiliated institutional separate account clients, private funds, registered funds, and business development companies. Transactions primarily involve non-control direct equity co-investments and GP-led private equity secondaries. The attorney may also work on LP-led secondaries and junior capital debt financing transactions in connection with the portfolio. The position reports to Churchill’s Deputy General Counsel, who oversees the transactional legal group. The successful candidate will collaborate with transactional legal colleagues and business partners while independently managing matters as needed to meet transaction timelines.
