About The Position

Seven Seas Water Group (SSWG) is seeking an SVP, Operations to lead all desalination and brackish water operations across their Caribbean, Panama, and Peru sites. This senior leadership role, based in Tampa with regular travel, involves full ownership of the operating performance, culture, and P&L of a multinational platform of critical water infrastructure. The position is responsible for driving the operations strategy, ensuring contractual compliance, and improving revenue, profitability, uptime, and water quality. The SVP will act as the senior representative to key customers, lead the operations organization (people, budgets, CapEx, culture), and implement operational improvements such as AI-enabled performance dashboards, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and EHS culture. This role also requires close collaboration with engineering, finance, legal, and corporate departments on forecasting, permitting, and other operational aspects.

Requirements

• Senior operational leadership experience in the water industry, ideally with P&L accountability.
• Hands-on technical depth in seawater and brackish water desalination, plus wastewater treatment.
• Proven track record running operations across multiple countries within a multinational organization.
• Ability to command a room from the field crew to the boardroom.
• Clear communication skills across cultural and language differences.
• Professional English required.
• Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
• Strong executive communication skills, including building board- and customer-facing presentations.
• Willingness to travel frequently and internationally.
• Valid U.S. passport with no restrictions on obtaining travel visas.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Tampa, FL.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the operations strategy for desalination and brackish water assets.
• Ensure contractual compliance while pushing revenue, profitability, uptime, and water quality.
• Serve as the senior face of Seven Seas Water Group to major customers.
• Lead the operations organization, including people management, budgets, CapEx decisions, and fostering a positive culture.
• Implement AI-enabled performance dashboards and KPIs.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve asset reliability.
• Partner with engineering to ensure field-built reflects field-tested designs.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, field services, and EHS culture across all sites.
• Act as the liaison between operations and finance, legal, and corporate departments for forecasting, permitting, and other matters.
