About The Position

PriorityPet is seeking a veterinarian to help build and lead a new Urgent Care practice as its Medical Director. The role offers medical autonomy, business support, and resources to build a practice and establish its culture. The hospital will be developed with PriorityPet and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to support patient care.

The Medical Director will deliver high-quality veterinary medicine, lead the hospital team, foster a positive clinic culture aligned with Alliance Animal Health’s core values, communicate effectively, and mentor other veterinarians. The opportunity is posted in Rochester, Minnesota, but PriorityPet offers flexibility regarding where the new hospital will be built.

This is a full-time opportunity. The salary range is $120,000 to $220,000, with compensation based on experience, qualifications, schedule, and compensation structure. Immediate ownership or equity opportunities are available with no out-of-pocket cost.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary state license.
• At least 3 years of veterinarian experience.
• Current DEA License and USDA Accreditation, or obtain them upon hire.
• Compassionate leadership and the experience and willingness to manage a team and promote a positive clinic culture.
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to high-quality medicine and mentoring other veterinarians.
