NVIDIA•Austin, TX
•$168,000 - $310,500

About The Position

At NVIDIA, the Senior Verification Engineer will work on the CPU Verification Team to advance CPU verification across products ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving vehicles and AI. The role owns and drives verification strategy definition, planning, and execution for sophisticated CPU designs, and applies new verification methodologies to improve efficiency and continuously improve verification practices. The engineer works closely with global architecture, build, and verification teams, and partners with build and architecture teams to define verification scope for high-quality product delivery. The role develops and maintains stimulus, testbench, and coverage strategies, tracks progress toward tape-out using defined metrics, and mentors verification engineers. It also requires agility in balancing multiple tasks and projects. The position requires at least eight years of verification-domain work experience involving CPUs and/or CPU-based subsystems, along with a degree in EE/CS or a related field, or equivalent experience. Candidates should have strong verification-methodology knowledge, experience or knowledge in SystemVerilog and UVM constrained-random environments, scripting proficiency, CPU and system architecture knowledge, processor build concepts, and software and hardware debugging skills. Strong communication and teamwork across a distributed team are required. The base salary range is $168,000–$264,500 for Level 4 and $196,000–$310,500 for Level 5, depending on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
