Position Summary The Senior Vendor Contract Relationship Manager will work for the national Medicaid network vendor management program to ensure successful Vendor partnerships. This role will create, lead and manage vendors to the contract SLAs, performance guarantees and provide insight into complex vendor issues. The Senior Vendor Relationship Manager will work with local Health Plans to provide oversight and ensure contract(s) meets state and company regulatory and performance expectations. This role will efficiently manage vendor relationships, business needs and monitor vendor performance. The Senior Vendor Relationship Manager will conduct and lead monthly Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings with Health Plan and Vendor representatives.

Requirements

7+ years of Healthcare Industry experience
3-5 years of Vendor Relationship Management which includes the ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues and demonstrates a broad, strategic approach to problem solving
Demonstrated knowledge of medical cost drivers and managed care industry
Conduct and Lead JOCs with Health Plan and Vendor representatives

Nice To Haves

3+ years of Provider Contract Negotiation experience
Able to assess administrative, financial, and constituent impact of provider contracts
Understands provider contracts, contracting options, and operational issues related to provider relations
Ability to complete contracts timely
Project management experience

Responsibilities
