About The Position

The Global UX team at Target is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Loyalty UX Team. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of Target's next-generation loyalty ecosystem by designing experiences that enhance membership, rewards, personalization, and member engagement. The designer will work across digital and in-store touchpoints, translating complex business strategies into simple, intuitive experiences that deepen guest relationships and drive long-term loyalty. This position is ideal for a systems thinker who thrives on solving complex, interconnected product challenges and designing experiences that span multiple touchpoints in the guest journey. The role involves using human-centered design thinking, balancing business needs with user needs, and delivering best-in-class design from concept to execution, while also championing cross-functional experimentation. The designer will contribute to advancing the UX practice at Target and educating cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products at scale, or equivalent experience
  • Strong product design skills, including structuring and planning work, owning the design process, and delivering high-quality experiences from concept through execution
  • Proficiency in product design and prototyping tools (i.e., Figma)
  • Demonstrated strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to effectively use data and insights to set your direction and communicate your approach
  • Understanding of how design connects to, serves, and improves business outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full design process, from early discovery and strategic approach to ideation, design, testing asset delivery and production with engineers
  • Lead and contribute craft-specific work to large, complex projects with cross-team impact
  • Leverage insights, data and quantitative/qualitative research to identify and pursue user-centric outcomes within your product space
  • Create design deliverables representative of the design process phase – such as journey maps, wireframes, user flows, UI design and prototypes
  • Hold design work to a high standard of craft, including accessibility, user research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design
  • Contribute to a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams
  • Navigate complexity and ambiguity delivering impact for guests and the business
