Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in UX/CX design, with a focus on digital products or platforms
  • Experience in overseeing and delivering successful user experiences
  • Experience in using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy
  • Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the overall user experience and customer experience design for the United AI Studio platform.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure a cohesive and intuitive experience across all features.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Use Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with user needs and business goals.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers and contractors on the team.
  • Support junior designers in delivering high-quality designs and help them develop their skills in UX/CX design.
  • Coordinate and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of design solutions.
  • Analyze the results and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align on design goals, requirements, and implementation.
  • Communicate design decisions effectively and advocate for the user throughout the development process.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/CX design.
  • Continuously improve design processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the overall design capabilities of the team.
  • Document design decisions, guidelines, and patterns for reference and future use.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale, concepts, and solutions to stakeholders and team members.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the user experience and propose innovative design solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement enhancements and iterate on existing designs based on user feedback and data analysis.
