About The Position

Schwab is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and adaptable Senior UX Designer to join the Digital Retail PILLAR team within the User Experience team. This individual-contributor role shapes useful, consistent, modern digital product experiences across web and mobile. The designer independently leads work from problem definition through execution, brings clarity to ambiguity, and partners with Experience Design, Content, Product, Engineering, Research, and other teams to turn complex challenges into scalable solutions. The role connects client needs, business priorities, product strategy, and experience design to create a clear, scalable vision for Schwab’s digital ecosystem. The designer improves existing experiences and develops future-state concepts, while considering mobile experiences, personalization, AI, conversational interfaces, and emerging interaction models. Work must balance client needs, business goals, quality, accessibility, trust, consistency, and technical considerations. The position is an onsite role at the specified location(s). The successful candidate will join a collaborative group of designers and content strategists, facilitate reviews and workshops, influence partners through communication and design rationale, and support and mentor other designers. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time without employer sponsorship. A digital portfolio link, including any required passwords, should be included with the resume.

Requirements

  • Experience designing for web and native mobile platforms.
  • Ability to influence partners and stakeholders through clear communication, storytelling, prototypes, and design rationale.
  • Proficiency with Figma or comparable product design tools.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
  • Include a link to a digital portfolio of relevant work on the resume, with any required passwords; the portfolio should demonstrate product experience problem-solving, work within established patterns, and design across digital touchpoints.
