About The Position

Infosys is seeking a Senior Unit Manager – HR for its Human Resources team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves partnering with the business to leverage new growth opportunities by delivering and co-creating innovative solutions. The Senior Unit Manager – HR will be responsible for designing and implementing processes for identifying and training HR members onsite, driving the Performance Management System, and providing direction for employee engagement practices. This role also involves evaluating emerging business needs, proposing solutions to Global HR Managers, creating unit-specific reward schemes, and guiding the team in analyzing HR initiatives for maximum people impact. Additionally, the position will assist in designing an HR dashboard to capture and highlight key statistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 14 years of work experience.

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Indianapolis or be willing to relocate to this location.
  • This position may require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Design and institutionalize a process for identification and training HR members onsite.
  • Drive the Performance Management System.
  • Provide direction to design employee engagement practices.
  • Evaluate challenges inherent in emerging business needs and propose alternatives/solutions to Global HR Managers.
  • Create unit-specific reward schemes to drive the reward philosophy.
  • Provide directions to the team in analyzing key changes required in HR initiatives to have maximum people impact.
  • Help design a HR dashboard to capture and highlight key statistics on a period basis.
