About The Position

Our Senior Underwriters customize solutions for our commercial clients when they need insurance products to cover Transportation & Logistics risks. They work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties. They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders and love utilizing their strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly. While they are already experts in their own field, Northbridge is committed to their ongoing growth and development. Working in a collaborative team they provide coaching, mentoring and development for less experienced underwriters.

Requirements

Commercial Underwriting experience.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to build relationships with brokers.
Ability to create success in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience helping others develop through coaching and mentorship.
5+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience in Transportation & Logistics.
Strong customer service background.
Team-first mentality.

Nice To Haves

Completed, or pursuing your CIP designation.
Small Business experience.
