Senior Trust & Wealth Advisor

The Croghan Colonial Bank•Cleveland, OH

About The Position

The Senior Trust & Wealth Advisor is an advanced client-facing professional in Croghan Colonial Bank’s Wealth Management and Trust Department. The role leads larger, more complex, and strategically important client relationships, combining financial planning, tax-aware wealth strategy, estate planning coordination, investment discussions, fiduciary judgment, relationship management, business development, mentoring, and governance contributions. It operates within a bank trust environment and uses Croghan’s fiduciary and trust capabilities. It is not a broker-dealer producer role, and securities licensing is not required for the core position unless Croghan separately assigns licensed activities through approved channels. The advisor serves as a senior relationship presence for complex or sensitive situations, develops strategies spanning families, entities, trusts, accounts, banking relationships, business interests, outside advisors, and next-generation stakeholders, and leads sophisticated client and professional-advisor conversations. The role applies advanced fiduciary judgment, coordinates specialist review when appropriate, provides planning and investment judgment where authorized, and may exercise higher delegated authority subject to bank policy and governance processes. The position also originates significant new relationships, develops referral networks, represents Croghan in professional and community settings, mentors colleagues, contributes to team standards and governance work, and recommends improvements to processes, client experience, training, technology, and risk practices. The position is based in the Greater Cleveland Area, Ohio, with travel to the Main Office in Fremont, Ohio, or other Croghan locations as needed.
