Senior Transportation Supervisor - Logistics
About The Position
The Export Operations Supervisor is responsible for the timely and efficient movement of Global Tyson products to all international customers through all modes of transportation. This role ensures cross-functional collaboration and alignment on strategic plans to provide Tyson a competitive advantage, develops and improves working relationships with internal and external business partners, and ensures Tyson export allocations are fully utilized. The position also promotes and supports technological and automation initiatives, supports continuous improvement and change management, leads and develops a team, and participates in frequent supplier service reviews.
Requirements
- BS degree in Logistics a plus or BS degree in Business and/or 3 plus yrs. of Logistics, Distribution, Exports/Imports and Transportation experience
- 3 plus years of experience within transportation freight payment
- Versed in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and various supply chain operating systems
- Mid to Senior level management written, presentation and verbal skills.
- Resume in PDF or Word format must be attached to qualify.

- Deliver the financial plan.
- Ensure risk management and contingency planning related to trends and threats impacting Global transportation and Global BUs.

- Build strong relationships and trust with internal and external team members and business partners.
