As GFT continues to grow and expand, we are seeking an emerging Senior Transit Project Manager to support our Transportation Group in Metro Nashville, TN. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 3 days of onsite office attendance. GFT is seeking a candidate with 15-20 years of experience in managing multi-disciplined teams for passenger rail and/or transit projects in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for FTA/FRA funded projects involving Bus Facilities, Bus Rapid Transit, Light Rail, Heavy Rail Rapid Transit, or Commuter Rail. PE Registration required. A Bachelor degree is required, masters preferred, and progressive positions with major transportation agencies or consultants expected. The position is responsible for coordinating and reviewing the work of engineers and planners working in diverse disciplines to design and plan major transportation infrastructure. The position requires good verbal and writing skills and ability to successfully interact with clients and federal agency oversight. Work includes corridor planning, alternatives analysis NEPA documentation, project scheduling, and funding applications. Some travel necessary.
