About The Position

LOC Credit Union is seeking a collaborative and experienced Senior Training & Talent Specialist to join their Human Resources & Training team. In this role, the specialist will partner with leaders across the organization, leading employee onboarding, coordinating recruitment efforts, designing and delivering engaging training programs, and supporting career development initiatives. The position involves creating innovative learning experiences, facilitating leadership and operational training, managing the Learning Management System, and using data to improve talent development programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences, an engaging presenter, an organized project manager, and a creative problem solver.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Two or more years of experience in training, talent development, recruiting, onboarding, or Human Resources.
Exceptional presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Experience developing learning content and delivering engaging training programs.
Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities.

Nice To Haves

Previous financial institution or credit union experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and enhance the employee onboarding experience from day one through successful integration.
Coordinate recruitment activities and partner with hiring managers to attract top talent.
Design and facilitate engaging classroom, virtual, and self-paced training programs.
Develop learning materials, job aids, and leadership development resources.
Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) and employee training records.
Measure training effectiveness through KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support employee development, career growth, and organizational learning initiatives.
Partner with leaders to identify training needs and deliver solutions that drive business results.
