About The Position

LOC Credit Union is seeking a collaborative and experienced Senior Training & Talent Specialist to join their Human Resources & Training team. This role involves partnering with leaders to enhance employee onboarding, coordinate recruitment, design and deliver training programs, and support career development initiatives. The specialist will create innovative learning experiences, facilitate leadership and operational training, manage the Learning Management System (LMS), and use data to improve talent development programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about people development, enjoys coaching, thrives in collaboration, and is dedicated to creating meaningful employee experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Two or more years of experience in training, talent development, recruiting, onboarding, or Human Resources.
Exceptional presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Experience developing learning content and delivering engaging training programs.
Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities.

Nice To Haves

Previous financial institution or credit union experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and enhance the employee onboarding experience from day one through successful integration.
Coordinate recruitment activities and partner with hiring managers to attract top talent.
Design and facilitate engaging classroom, virtual, and self-paced training programs.
Develop learning materials, job aids, and leadership development resources.
Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) and employee training records.
Measure training effectiveness through KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support employee development, career growth, and organizational learning initiatives.
Partner with leaders to identify training needs and deliver solutions that drive business results.
