The Senior Training Administrator leads and coordinates customer training administration while serving as a senior resource for the Training Administration team. This role manages complex and high-priority customer training requirements, including Premier Accounts, and supports strategic Smart Factory projects by developing training plans aligned with customer equipment, applications, implementation milestones, and business needs. The position proactively contacts customers following the purchase of new machines to explain available training, identify learning needs, and support enrollment in appropriate courses.

Requirements

  • Experience in training administration, customer service, account coordination, project coordination, or a related field
  • Advanced experience supporting or administering a Learning Management System and guiding others in its use.
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately
  • Excellent communication, organization, follow-up, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Customer-first approach
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and operational support to Training Administrators, including best-practice sharing, complex-case support, and coverage coordination.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and Training Center order intake through proactive support, tailored learning plans, accurate follow-up, and timely scheduling.
  • Contact customers after new-machine purchases to explain training options, identify needs, and support registration.
  • Develop Smart Factory training plans in collaboration with Sales, Service, and Project Managers.
  • Manage training requirements for Premier Accounts, including learning plans, customer follow-up, enrollment support, and internal coordination.
  • Lead LMS administration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with TRUMPF headquarters on system improvements.
  • Create training quotes and process invoices in SAP; serve as the Training SAP Key User.
  • Manage LMS enrollments, cancellations, and course progress for TUS, TUSC, and TUSD.
  • Use HALO to track and manage customer training inquiries with timely follow-up.
  • Support the Head of Technical Training & L&D with customer-focused initiatives.
  • Administer and improve LMS and SAP processes
  • Support other Training Administrators acts as a key connection between customers, Training, Sales, Service, Applications and project teams.
