About The Position

Champion Care, voted Best Place to Work for two consecutive years, is seeking ambitious, business-minded professionals for our Healthcare Operations Leadership Program, an accelerated Administrator in Training (AIT) program designed to prepare the next generation of Licensed Nursing Home Administrators (LNHA). This program is an opportunity to build an executive career leading a healthcare organization, moving beyond managing a department into leading an entire business. The intensive 6 to 8 month program provides hands-on experience in every aspect of skilled nursing facility operations, working directly with experienced Nursing Home Administrators and senior leadership. Participants will develop skills in skilled nursing facility operations, financial management, budgeting, P&L, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, census development, business growth, department and team leadership, human resources, employee engagement, executive decision making, and multi-facility operational exposure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Leadership or management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to meet Wisconsin or Tennessee Nursing Home Administrator licensure requirements.
  • Willingness to relocate within the state for final Administrator placement if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in all aspects of skilled nursing facility operations.
  • Work directly with experienced Nursing Home Administrators and senior leadership.
  • Develop skills in financial management, budgeting, and P&L.
  • Learn about regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
  • Understand census development and business growth strategies.
  • Develop expertise in department and team leadership.
  • Gain experience in human resources and employee engagement.
  • Practice executive decision making.
  • Obtain multi-facility operational exposure.
  • Complete state-approved Administrator in Training (AIT) program.
  • Prepare for and pass the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) examination.
  • Complete applicable state licensure examinations.

Benefits

  • Salary: $70,000 annually
  • Upon successful completion of the program and state licensure, Administrators typically receive: Base salary of $100,000+
