Administrator in Training
About The Position
Champion Care is seeking a motivated and ambitious leader to join our Alabama operations as an Administrator in Training. This structured leadership development program provides hands-on experience in skilled nursing operations while preparing the selected candidate to become a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Alabama. Working under the guidance of an experienced, licensed Nursing Home Administrator, the AIT will gain exposure to every area of facility operations, including clinical services, employee recruitment and retention, financial management, regulatory compliance, resident experience, quality improvement, business development and environmental services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in healthcare leadership and make a meaningful impact on residents, employees and the communities we serve.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and employees
- Willingness to work throughout different departments and participate in all aspects of facility operations
- Ability to meet the eligibility requirements established by the Alabama Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators
- Willingness to relocate within Alabama following completion of the program
Nice To Haves
- Degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, public health or a related field preferred
- Previous leadership or healthcare experience preferred
