Requirements

Completed education (HTL, FH, or University) in Computer Science or Software Engineering
At least 5 years of professional experience in test management as well as in the implementation and further development of automated tests in complex system landscapes.
Sound knowledge of test strategies, test methods, risk-based testing, and multi-level quality assurance concepts; ISTQB certification desirable.
Strong communication and coordination skills as well as experience in collaborating with specialist departments, development, operations, management, and external partners are desirable.
Ideally, experience in the technical management of test teams and in the successful implementation of change and knowledge management measures.
Programming skills and practical experience with established frameworks for automating web, interface, and end-to-end tests are an advantage.
Experience with CI/CD processes, version control, and the integration of automated tests into development and release processes is a plus.
Experience in the technical and economic evaluation of test tools and in deriving sustainable target images and migration strategies is particularly welcome.

ISTQB-Zertifizierung wünschenswert.
Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Koordinationsfähigkeiten sowie Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Fachbereichen, Entwicklung, Betrieb, Management und externen Partnern sind wünschenswert
Idealerweise Erfahrung in der fachlichen Steuerung von Testteams sowie in der erfolgreichen Umsetzung von Veränderungs- und Wissensmanagementmaßnahmen.
Programmierkenntnisse und praktische Erfahrung mit etablierten Frameworks für die Automatisierung von Web-, Schnittstellen- und End-to-End-Tests von Vorteil.
Erfahrung mit CI/CD-Prozessen, Versionsverwaltung sowie der Integration automatisierter Tests in Entwicklungs- und Releaseprozesse sind ein Plus.
Erfahrung in der fachlichen und wirtschaftlichen Bewertung von Testwerkzeugen sowie in der Ableitung nachhaltiger Zielbilder und Migrationsstrategien ist besonders willkommen.

Responsibilities

Develop the overarching test strategy further and create risk-oriented test concepts for complex projects and system landscapes.
Plan, control, and monitor test activities across all relevant test levels, including risk-based prioritization of test measures.
Define test scope, test methods, test data, quality criteria, and suitable test tools together with the involved departments and advise management on quality-related issues.
Design a future-proof test automation architecture and develop implementation and migration strategies for existing and new automated tests. This includes evaluating and further developing existing test procedures, tools, and processes.
Drive the advancement of modern methods and technologies, including test automation and AI-supported quality assurance.
Control the development and maintenance of automated tests for user interfaces, interfaces, and business end-to-end processes, as well as their integration into development and release processes, and design solutions for simulating external systems.
Take responsibility for test resources and ensure transparent test reporting that provides sound decision-making bases for project managers.
Coordinate the collaboration of quality assurance with specialist departments, development, operations, service providers, and external partners, and support quality-related decisions and escalations.
