Senior Test Program Manager - Vertical Programs
About The Position
The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Senior Test Program Manager to lead test and evaluation strategy, architecture, execution, resources, and environment for Boeing Vertical programs. The role oversees test and evaluation activities primarily across the United States and India, with potential work in Poland and Brazil. It provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, while developing relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports. Domestic and international travel to company worksites is required. The position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed location options. The manager is accountable for execution throughout the BT&E product test life cycle for teams working on Boeing Vertical programs. The role represents Test & Evaluation across program phases, beginning with development of the T&E strategy and test program plan, and serves as managing authority for the Boeing Vertical T&E program and related management processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- At least 5 years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
- At least 3 years of experience preparing and presenting to executives.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person, as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
- Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process.

Responsibilities
- Partner with program teammates and BT&E execution teams to meet affordability, safety, and quality goals.
- Lead the strategy and plan for a comprehensive virtual and physical integration and test architecture.
- Drive lean and efficient component qualification test capabilities.
- Lead an approach for integration and test across all program efforts.
- Partner with BT&E engineering capability leaders, Boeing program managers, U.S. government leaders, suppliers, and customers to execute the test program and meet commitments.
- Oversee execution throughout the entire BT&E product test life cycle for all BT&E teams working on Boeing Vertical programs.
- Represent Test & Evaluation across all phases of the program, beginning with development of the T&E strategy and test program plan.
- Act as managing authority for the Boeing Vertical T&E program, including Statement of Work (SOW), Earned Value Management (EVM), Change Management, risk issues and opportunities (RIO), and related processes as applicable.
- Manage the test program work statement, commitments, and performance, including scope, cost, schedules, implementation of test and evaluation requirements and design solutions, safe operations during all phases, and BT&E performance to plan.
- Implement and leverage Model Based Engineering (MBE) capability.
- Use analytics to drive improvement across the Product Test Life Cycle (PTLC).
