About The Position

Welcome to Mission Fed! We are looking for someone who loves working with people in the community, is outgoing, and enjoys building relationships. This is a part-time position (minimum 20 hours per week) where we will teach you everything you need to know about banking. Your infectious personality, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are key. You will be the first friendly face people see when they walk into the branch, proactively and professionally acknowledging anyone who enters. You will be expected to balance your checks and cash drawer, accurately process routine member account transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, wire transfers, official checks, gift cards, cash advances, etc.), and research and resolve member inquiries on issues related to their accounts. This role also requires cross-selling services that would benefit our members and properly tracking products and services referred or sold. We are looking for someone who can maintain a positive attitude when facing challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months in the retail and/or service industry or 6 months in a financial institution, working in a branch environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong listening, verbal communication, time management and organizational skills required.
• Able to maintain the confidentiality of member information.

Responsibilities

• Proactively and professionally acknowledging anyone who enters the branch.
