About The Position
The Senior Telecommunications Analyst serves as the organization's lead telecommunications technical resource. The role is responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, support, and strategic advancement of enterprise telecommunications and unified communications systems. It provides senior-level expertise in Cisco Collaboration technologies, PBX and VoIP platforms, Microsoft Teams voice integration, cellular and paging systems, nurse call communications, and converged voice and data networks.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of progressively responsible telecommunications experience.
- Three years of experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise PBX and VoIP systems.
- Experience administering carrier, cellular, paging, and telecommunications services.
- Experience supporting converged voice and data networks.
- Experience working with telecommunications vendors and service providers.
- Valid California driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration).
- Cisco Collaboration or Voice certifications.
- Microsoft Teams Voice Administrator Associate certification.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Experience supporting healthcare telecommunications environments.
- Experience supporting Cerner CareAware Connect.
- Experience with Cisco CUBE and SIP trunk implementations.
- Experience leading telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting DAS/BDA systems and public safety communications infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, administer, maintain, and support enterprise telecommunications and unified communications systems.
- Advance the organization's telecommunications and unified communications systems strategically.
- Provide senior-level technical expertise in Cisco Collaboration technologies, PBX and VoIP platforms, Microsoft Teams voice integration, cellular and paging systems, nurse call communications, and converged voice and data networks.
