About The Position

ECLARO is looking for a Senior Technical Solutions Architect for our client in New York, NY. The client operates one of the world's largest energy delivery systems and is constantly at the forefront of innovations in developing technology. This role involves designing, building, and overseeing the implementation of next-generation secure network infrastructures, acting as the primary visionary and technical authority for the network security posture. The architect will translate complex business objectives into secure, resilient, and scalable network architectures across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. Responsibilities also include day-to-day IT administrative tasks, problem-solving, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in the design, implementation, administration, operation, and integration of enterprise network firewalls and secure architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work off-hours to support deployments, resolve production issues, or respond to emergencies.
• Proven experience managing cybersecurity threats, assessing technical risks, and working within regulatory compliance frameworks.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience evaluating commercially available infrastructure components.
• Establishing standard designs.
• Maintaining strong familiarity with emerging security trends (e.g., Next-Generation Firewalls, SASE, ZTNA, micro-segmentation, and cloud security architectures).
• Demonstrated ability to establish medium- and long-term infrastructure plans.
• Define strategic technology priorities.
• Estimate investment and resource requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and oversee the implementation of next-generation secure network infrastructures.
• Act as the primary visionary and technical authority for the network security posture.
• Translate complex business objectives into secure, resilient, and scalable network architectures spanning on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Responsible for day-to-day IT administrative tasks, problem solving, and issue resolution.
