About The Position

Amperesand is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Technical Recruiter / Sourcer to join their team during a critical growth phase. This is a hands-on role where the individual will manage the entire recruitment process, from talent mapping and sourcing to candidate engagement, assessment, and closing. Their foundation is built on scalable in-house advanced manufacturing, and they are led by experienced energy hardware development veterans, funded by top-tier investors. With hubs in San Francisco, Reno, and Singapore, Amperesand is building foundational technology to solve pressing problems in power infrastructure at scale.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, enabling credibility with senior candidates, engineers, hiring managers, and executives.
  • Strong judgment and the confidence to challenge, calibrate, and advise hiring managers while maintaining a flexible, partnership-oriented approach.
  • High level of ownership and initiative; ability to identify necessary actions and drive them forward.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with potentially shifting priorities and undefined processes.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches without compromising responsiveness or candidate experience.
  • Genuine curiosity about technical roles and the capacity to learn enough about unfamiliar disciplines to recruit effectively.
  • Collaborative and low-ego attitude, willing to assist the team in achieving hiring goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and other critical roles, with an emphasis on engineering and highly specialized talent.
  • Build targeted sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill roles, moving beyond reliance on inbound applicants.
  • Proactively identify and engage exceptional passive candidates through various channels including LinkedIn, referrals, networks, events, research, and creative sourcing methods.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Amperesand's technology, organization, and talent needs to effectively represent the company.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to define candidate profiles, calibrate searches, assess talent, and ensure hiring processes progress efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screens and provide informed assessments of candidate quality and fit.
  • Manage multiple searches concurrently while maintaining urgency, organization, and a high standard of candidate experience.
  • Guide candidates through the entire recruitment process, from initial outreach to offer acceptance and closing.
  • Utilize recruiting data and market feedback to identify challenges, adapt search strategies, and advise hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and disciplined pipeline management and recruiting data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Contribute to the improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and practices as the company scales.
