Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in technical or software development environments.
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, including Agile methodologies.
Experience working with engineering teams (data, backend, frontend, or AI/ML).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing projects involving data engineering, AI/ML, or cloud-based platforms (AWS).
Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and modern application architectures.
Understanding of AI/ML workflows, including LLMs or agent-based systems.
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or partnering/business development domains.
Certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects, including AI applications, data platforms, and integration initiatives.
Define scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
Partner with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and full-stack developers to coordinate work across multiple technical workstreams, including data pipelines, agentic AI systems, and frontend applications.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and dependencies.
Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language to support decision-making.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure teams are operating efficiently.
Remove blockers and enable teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Proactively identify risks, manage cross-team dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success in a complex, fast-moving environment.
Develop a strong understanding of the team’s technical landscape (e.g., AWS, data platforms, APIs, AI/agent frameworks) to effectively support planning, prioritization, and execution.
Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to align priorities, manage deliverables, and ensure seamless integration of solutions.
Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including tracking of KPIs, timelines, and deliverables.
Provide regular updates to leadership and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Drive improvements in project delivery processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the team.
