About The Position

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Senior Technical Project Manager. Utilize tools, process, and technical knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for clients. Lead and manage the integration of customer websites onto the Akamai platform. Evaluate and pair customer requirements to applicable Akamai solutions. Define core project management activities, timelines, and responsibilities to establish efficiency and success. Partner with a variety of internal business units to ensure project alignment. Track, document and share information to provide visibility to stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, or Telecommunications, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
  • Three (3) years of experience in managing cross-functional technical teams.
  • Three (3) years of experience in defining and tracking KPIs.
  • Three (3) years of experience in automating workflows.
  • Three (3) years of experience in translating business goals and requirements into solutions.
  • Three (3) years of experience with C, C++, and C#.
  • Three (3) years of experience with .NET.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Tableau.
  • Three (3) years of experience with SQL.
  • Three (3) years of experience with basic HTML/XML.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Python (NumPy, Pandas & Matplotlib).
  • Three (3) years of experience with R.
