About The Position

  • Ability to execute directly while improving how the broader team works.
  • Track record of building trust quickly and working effectively across teams.
  • BA/BS in computer science, engineering, information systems, analytics, or another technical or analytical field.
  • Strong systems thinking, including the ability to connect architecture, product, compliance, and timelines and spot risks early.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs toward ambitious goals with urgency and ownership.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure, CI/CD, or observability tools.
  • Experience leading reliability programs.
  • Experience building programs in rigorous, fast-moving organizations.
  • Background in software engineering.
  • Familiarity with how LLM-based systems are built and deployed, sufficient to have substantive conversations with the engineers building them.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large technical programs across engineering and partner teams, including infrastructure scaling, reliability, and incident response.
  • Connect platform and product engineering teams, maintain context flow, surface dependencies, and drive effective execution.
  • Own programs from scoping and kickoff through delivery, measurement, and retrospective.
  • Partner with engineering leaders on roadmaps, identify project overlaps and dependencies, and align programs with organizational goals.
  • Help engineers, engineering managers, and partner teams communicate business and engineering priorities across the organization.
  • Strengthen the incident response program by improving processes, facilitating retrospectives, and helping teams act on lessons learned.
  • Define how TPMs work at Ramp by setting standards, creating playbooks, and improving program practices.
