About The Position

Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex AI technology programs across its AI Product Group (APG). The role establishes and manages an integrated delivery framework connecting product development, engineering, platform operations, global teams, and external partners to deliver AI-enabled solutions. It drives program execution, cross-functional dependency management, production readiness, and launch requirements, while ensuring initiatives are delivered on time with measurable outcomes and clear accountability. As a foundational APG member, the Senior Technical Program Manager partners with senior technology leadership and provides oversight of program governance, technical delivery milestones, vendor commitments, and operational transitions. The role calls for deep technical program management expertise, an understanding of AI/ML development and deployment, excellent written communication, and the ability to influence across complex organizations. The successful candidate will translate technical complexity into actionable plans, anticipate and resolve delivery risks, and establish scalable program management practices as the organization grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive technical program management experience, including leadership of complex, multi-team, multi-vendor technology initiatives and successful delivery of AI/ML solutions into production.
  • Experience leading large-scale technical programs with Director-level scope, including accountability for product launches, operational readiness, business outcomes, and delivery performance.
  • Expertise in program planning, cross-functional dependency management, milestone tracking, risk mitigation, resource coordination, and execution across engineering and product teams.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML development and deployment lifecycles, including model dependencies, evaluation frameworks, data readiness, agentic AI systems, and production release requirements.
  • Ability to interpret technical architecture documentation, evaluate engineering estimates, and engage credibly with senior engineers and architects on technical delivery challenges.
  • Experience establishing and managing production readiness reviews, technical acceptance criteria, stage-gate processes, and evidence-based launch decisions.
  • Experience managing external technology vendors, contractual delivery obligations, technical acceptance requirements, and multi-vendor integration programs.
  • Experience leading structured knowledge transfer, operational transition, and partner-to-internal-team capability development initiatives.
  • Proficiency in technical program management methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks, including dependency mapping, delivery tracking, risk management, and executive-level performance reporting.
  • Experience using technical telemetry, engineering metrics, and delivery data to evaluate program health, validate progress, and support fact-based decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive-ready presentations, concise updates, escalation memoranda, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, including the ability to drive accountability without direct reporting authority.
  • Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams, external partners, and enterprise stakeholders across time zones and organizational structures.
  • Success in fast-paced, evolving, or early-stage technology environments while establishing scalable processes within larger enterprise organizations.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges, resolve ambiguity, and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted and agentic tools to improve program management efficiency, accelerate execution, and enhance delivery outcomes.
  • No professional certifications or licenses are required.
