Senior Technical Product Manager
About The Position
As a Senior Technical Product Manager at Cotality Inc., you will be the strategic engine behind the SDAP Portfolio, owning the technical execution for the Araya Platform and spearheading the flagship Gen AI integration. This high-visibility role is for someone who excels at the intersection of complex data architecture and rapid-scale delivery, ensuring the technical roadmap redefines business goals. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of next-generation products, utilizing test-driven development (TDD), paired programming, and continuous integration to build world-class digital solutions. A successful Technical Product Manager has a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable products, and is comfortable collaborating with Business Product Managers, User Experience, and Clients to make decisions. The goal is to quickly deliver valuable, working software to clients and their users. The role requires an agile and retrospective individual who can identify areas for improvement and growth, and who judges their success by the success of the team and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience as a lead in the software development field.
- 7+ years of Product team leadership experience.
- Experience delivering on a commercial software development team.
- Previous experience and success working with agile development teams.
- Experience as a product owner, business analyst role, or relevant, transferable professional experience.
- Experience defining and prioritizing product features.
- Proven ability to self-manage and drive results (organize, prioritize, time manage and focus).
- Excellent communication skills required to translate business needs into technical terms.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical execution for the Araya Platform.
- Spearhead the flagship Gen AI integration.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of next-generation products, utilizing test-driven development (TDD), paired programming, and continuous integration.
- Manage the team’s backlog, prioritization, accepting stories and representing both the customer and the Business Product Manager to the team.
- Review and contribute to the product vision and roadmap.
- Define stories, providing clarifications necessary to assist the team with story estimates, sequencing and team objectives.
- Define stories, prioritize the team’s backlog, streamlining the execution of work.
- Maintain the technical integrity of the entire product and its sub-systems.
- Accept stories as done.
- Be an extended member of the Business Product Management team.
- Be heavily involved in product backlog refinement and preparation of program increments.
- Drive the development of the minimal viable product (MVP) to budget and timelines.
