About The Position

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the product delivery of our Documents Domain which is integrated with the organization's Epic electronic health record (EHR) platform and supports multiple business areas. You will own the product requirements for our document ingestion pipelines, integration with downstream applications, domain services and UX/UI for document viewer. These services are critical for ensuring our providers and care teams have access to clinical documentation that drives patient diagnosis and care coordination. You will partner with business and engineering leaders to lead a product domain and deliver high-quality products that improve healthcare delivery.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of relevant work experience in product management and/or healthcare informatics
  • Meaningful exposure to document and/or data pipelines, HL7 and SMART-on-FIHR integration patterns, UX/UI design for digital applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with engineering teams on technically complex, domain services
  • Proven Leader: Comfortable driving strategic decisions, taking ownership, and coordinating resources to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Highly Collaborative: Excel at working with senior-level stakeholders and can translate complex technical topics for a variety of audiences
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Use data to measure product impact and work with analytics teams to evaluate success
  • Skilled in change management and driving user adoption of clinical technology.
  • BS in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience

  • Epic certification(s) in one or more modules relevant to the role (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Beacon, Willow, Prelude, Cadence, Resolute Professional Billing, HIM, MyChart, Beaker, Welcome Kiosk, Rover, Haiku, EpicCare Link, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, Bridges, Reporting Workbench, Orders).
  • Experience in Value Based Care and Medicare/Medicare Advantage
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health solutions and/or EHR integrations
  • Subject matter expertise in electronic fax, medical record management, order management
  • 4+ years as a Product Manager
  • Experience with data analytics and core healthcare metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to drive meaningful and quantifiable impact to the business

Responsibilities

  • Defining the product vision and strategic direction for your Epic Domain, ensuring continuous alignment with senior business and engineering leaders.
  • Translating high-level business goals into a clear, actionable product strategy that are tied to OKRs.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to define the product roadmap, overseeing day-to-day backlog management and prioritization to ensure alignment with your strategic vision.
  • Assessing value and developing business cases to inform the nature and scope of new initiatives, including evaluating buy vs. build opportunities and identifying opportunities to scale products to multiple business units.
  • Coordinating with technical partners from engineering, data science, and user design in a fast-paced, agile environment to build and enhance products.
  • Bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, fostering a collaborative and productive atmosphere.
  • Coordinating closely with PM peers in the eFax, Conditions and Medical Record Exchange domains on shared dependencies, API transitions, and cross-cutting priorities.
  • Working alongside the design team to design high-quality, intuitive products for end-users, including user research, gathering and documenting detailed product requirements and ensuring the final product meets user needs and expectations.
  • Defining and managing the launch of new products, including working with operations teams to create training materials and documentation for end-users.
  • Continuously identifying and acting on opportunities for product improvement through quantitative analysis and user feedback.
  • Delivering executive-level reporting on product status, risks, and decisions needed, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Developing testing procedures and governance for onsite, monthly, and quarterly Epic assessments, with detailed documentation review.
  • Partnering with training and change management teams to support readiness, adoption, and feedback loops for Epic-based product releases.
  • Supporting approval of product iterations, schedules, releases, and roadmaps to maintain delivery speed and quality across Epic initiatives.
  • Supporting domain leaders in recruiting, hiring, and developing product and informatics talent in a collaborative, fast-paced, global environment to instill industry-proven best practices.
