About The Position

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Product Manager to drive simulation infrastructure and capabilities that enable autonomy development, testing, and validation at scale. The Lattice Simulation Group builds foundational infrastructure and products for autonomy development, scaled test and evaluation, operations analysis, and wargaming. This role involves leading critical initiatives that require product thinking and deep technical coordination across teams, scoping and executing complex projects like driving adoption of Faster-Than-Real-Time (FTRT) testing, defining requirements for Federation and Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) test infrastructure, and scaling synthetic environment capabilities. The position requires building relationships across business lines, understanding diverse technical requirements, and delivering platform capabilities to accelerate autonomy developers. Candidates should have experience in systems/software development, the ability to learn technical concepts quickly, comfort working with engineers, and strong execution skills in ambiguous environments.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years in product management, software development, or managing complex technical systems
  • Technical background with experience in simulation systems, autonomy development, or adjacent domains
  • Track record working on platform or infrastructure teams with an "enable builders" mindset
  • Evidence of being scrappy and hands-on to ship projects, not just planning them
  • Strong ability to build relationships and coordinate across multiple technical teams
  • Demonstrated success decomposing complex technical problems and driving execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with autonomy development workflows
  • Experience with FTRT simulation, Software-in-the-Loop (SiTL), or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiTL) testing
  • Familiarity with LVC architectures, HLA/DIS standards, or distributed simulation systems
  • Experience with geospatial data pipelines, terrain generation, or synthetic environments
  • Background in defense, aerospace, or autonomous systems through industry or education
  • Active security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Drive platform initiatives, including scoping and execution of simulation infrastructure projects such as FTRT testing adoption, LVC test infrastructure, and synthetic environment capabilities.
  • Define technical roadmaps that balance immediate needs with long-term platform goals.
  • Work directly with autonomy teams to understand their workflows and pain points, and drive strategy to shift 80% of autonomy development workflows to FTRT simulation stacks.
  • Measure adoption and iterate based on feedback.
  • Build relationships with teams across all business lines that use simulation infrastructure, gather requirements, understand constraints, and align diverse stakeholders around shared technical direction.
  • Decompose ambiguous problems into concrete technical plans, scope features, plan sprints, identify dependencies, and drive execution to completion.
  • Develop technical pathways for complex initiatives like geospatial infrastructure and synthetic environments, making architectural decisions that balance performance, cost, and developer experience.
  • Translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders and business context for engineering teams, set clear expectations, and escalate tradeoffs when needed.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive equity grants
  • Top-tier benefits for full-time employees, including comprehensive, competitive benefits package (available at little to no cost to employees) ensuring support in health, recovery, and future needs.
