About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead their customer-facing Agentic AI product. This role involves leveraging LLMs, agents, and internal APIs to enhance customer experience and working with partners like OpenAI to integrate Jerry.ai services into the ChatGPT App. The company is a pre-IPO startup with significant funding, customer traction, and profitability. This position offers accelerated career growth due to a flat organizational structure and ambitious goals, with direct reporting to the COO. The company's mission is to simplify car ownership, which is currently a fragmented, complicated, and expensive experience. Jerry.ai has already established itself in car insurance and is looking to expand its AI capabilities, including voicebot and consumer AI applications. The role will own the strategy and roadmap for AI platform development, including prompt consolidation, chatbot prioritization, and emerging technology decisions, while also managing the OpenAI relationship and Jerry's presence in the ChatGPT store.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in a technical role like forward deployed engineering, technical product management, or similar at a fast-paced startup.
Passion and curiosity for AI systems including modern LLMs, etc.
Track record of taking complex, strategic ideas and turning them into scalable, production-grade products.
Technologist: Lives and breathes AI, reads release notes for new models, and has built custom workflows.
Systems Thinker: Comfortable with technical conversations about API design and system architecture, and can translate complex concepts for any audience.
Experimenter: Thinks in terms of what's possible and constantly tinkers with new AI capabilities.
Data-Driven: Familiar with SQL and comfortable diving into data to answer questions and validate hypotheses.
Pragmatic: Can navigate technical tradeoffs and lead by example when implementing AI platform standards.

Responsibilities

Define the strategy for migrating prompts from six locations onto a unified platform.
Sequence the work for prompt consolidation and align engineering, data, operations, and other teams on the plan.
Drive execution of the prompt consolidation strategy.
Own the technical prioritization queue for the chatbot.
Keep the team coordinated and moving without adding process overhead.
Track voicebot and computer use to determine when to invest in new technologies.
Own the OpenAI relationship and Jerry's presence in the ChatGPT store.
Bring a point of view and influence AI investment decisions.
Learn the prompt engineering workflow through writing and updating prompts.
Understand how various tech stacks (e.g. Propelix, Botly, CRM, GitHub, and Replit) interact.
Identify bottlenecks in the current AI platform.
