About The Position

The Senior Technical Writer is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality technical training content and documentation that enables customers and cross functional employees to effectively deploy, operate, and support Allerium Call Handling suite of products. The role translates complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible learning materials that drive product adoption, operational excellence, and customer success.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in enterprise software, telecommunications deployed in SaaS environments.
  • Experience with documentation authoring and publishing tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence, Quadralay, or similar platforms.
  • Proven expertise in delivering end-to-end product documentation for SaaS and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience working with Agile software development methodologies and participating in cross-functional product teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, microservices architectures, APIs, and DevOps practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the planning, creation, maintenance, and delivery of comprehensive product documentation for Call Handling solutions, including User Guides, Administration Guides, Operations & Maintenance documentation, Installation Guides, Release Notes, and Online Help content.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Customer Success teams to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Participate in product requirements, design, architecture, and sprint review meetings to stay aligned with product evolution and documentation needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation standards, templates, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistency across all product documentation.
  • Create customer-facing and internal training materials, including tutorials, knowledge base articles, technical training guides, presentations, and e-learning content.
  • Manage documentation projects, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet release schedules.
  • Support SaaS and cloud-native product documentation, including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, operational procedures, and API documentation.
  • Leverage modern documentation tools, content management systems, and AI-assisted authoring technologies to improve content quality and productivity.
  • Develops technical training courses and associated materials to customers and employees.
