About The Position

This is a 100% on-site position in Woodlawn, MD. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance and be willing to work on-site 5 days a week. The role involves analyzing business processes to identify, define, and document requirements, writing complex SQL queries for data transformations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The analyst will also write user stories, conduct manual testing, and mentor others.

Requirements

• Master's degree and 5+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience, or 13+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient in defining system documentation requirements based on input from technical personnel.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test execution.
• Strong experience working in an Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI Level 3 Methodologies.
• Knowledge of creating and maintaining Data Flow Diagrams and developing Use Cases.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience with manual testing and good knowledge of Backend DB testing (using SQL).
• Some API testing experience.
• Communication skills to present ideas and concepts effectively.
• Strong and proven problem-solving skills.
• Self-managed.
• Strong experience with tools to manage requirements.
• Skill in analyzing business processes to identify, define, and document requirements.
• Skill in writing complex SQL queries, joining multiple tables, and performing data transformations.
• Skill in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals, including facilitating meetings and sharing information.
• Skill in writing clear, concise, and actionable user stories that accurately capture stakeholder requirements.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of requirements gathering methodologies and documentation standards.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy, WebFOCUS).
• Experience working on Federal Govt Contracts.
• Database experience such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SQL and JDBC.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks.
• Previous experience with Social Security Administration.
• Agile certification.
