About The Position

Grant Street Group is a growing SaaS provider to public sector clients, offering tools for tax processing and electronic payments to improve government operations. We are seeking talented individuals with a curious disposition, excellent communication skills, and previous experience in technical Business Analyst roles or similar positions within the software or related industries. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to become a subject matter expert, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and drive continuous improvement for our clients. They should excel at identifying the root cause of problems, finding unique solutions to optimize processes, and explaining technical concepts clearly. Collaboration, mentorship, and building long-term relationships are key aspects of this role, as are strong organization and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Approximately 15% travel is required for client and colleague meetings. Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical Business Analyst experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to become a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

  • Excel at digging into the root cause of problems and finding unique solutions to optimize processes.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts with the right amount of detail.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between developers and clients, wearing multiple hats.
  • Solve complex problems by analyzing calculations, investigating bug causes, and proposing new processes.
  • Provide client support as a subject matter expert, addressing questions, problems, and suggestions.
  • Prioritize changes to the software, including feature requests and bug fixes, using a ticketing system.
  • Create technical specifications to convey necessary changes to developers, detailing functionality and user interface.
  • Test completed changes in a beta environment to ensure they meet specifications and do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Coordinate with new clients to configure software to meet their specific business needs, acting as a consultant.
  • Train clients on how to use the software, including new features and standard tasks.
