About The Position

Robots are increasingly being integrated into healthcare settings, from cleaning floors and moving lab specimens to assisting in operating rooms. Mayo Clinic aims to be a leader in this advancement, envisioning AI-driven autonomous systems that will revolutionize patient and staff experiences. The Senior Technical Business Analyst - Robotics plays a crucial role in this program by performing the essential groundwork for successful robotics implementation. This involves observing and mapping current clinical and operational workflows, translating requirements between end-users and engineers, conducting cost and value analyses for automation initiatives, and documenting learnings for future projects. The analyst must capture the complexities of the physical world, hospital operational tempos, and human workflows to ensure robots seamlessly integrate and enhance healthcare delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of both business needs and technical engineering requirements to deliver quality digital products and optimize operational workflows. The analyst will perform cost, benefit, and risk analyses, collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, and translate these into technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and validation plans. They will also contribute to product documentation, project planning, and potentially assist with deployment coordination. Applying systems engineering methodologies and conducting thorough root cause analysis are key aspects of this position. The ability to interpret vendor solution architectures and translate them into integration requirements is also essential. Furthermore, the analyst will help define change management requirements and may lead teams in a Product Owner capacity.
