The organization aims to be at the forefront of AI-driven autonomous systems in healthcare. The Senior Technical Business Analyst - Robotics plays a crucial role in this initiative by understanding current workflows, translating requirements between operational staff and engineers, performing cost-benefit analyses for automation, and documenting learnings. This role requires a deep understanding of both business and technical needs to ensure the successful implementation of robotics. The analyst will be responsible for observing and mapping clinical and operational workflows, translating requirements, building cost and value analyses, and documenting processes. The role emphasizes capturing the complexities of the physical world, hospital operational tempos, and human workflows to inform the development of robotics. The analyst will also perform data analysis, define business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure system validation. They will collaborate with stakeholders, research and validate requirements, establish scope boundaries, and assess problems through root cause analysis. Experience in interpreting vendor solution architectures and translating them into integration requirements is also key. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including F-1 STEM OPT extension.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (business, communications, advertising, marketing, statistics, engineering, technology, health care)
  • 5+ years of relevant digital business analyst role
  • Understand business strategy and business planning principles and applies with minimal guidance.
  • Understand design, build and operations capabilities and requirements of current digital product technologies.
  • Actively seeks to understand new and emerging technologies, their capabilities, and how to translate to technical specifications.
  • Able to understand and effectively communicate overarching product strategy to provide context to technical requirements and specifications.
  • Able to understand and effectively document business, operational and technical requirements.
  • Understands and can work following Agile product methodologies.
  • Able to document technical requirements and specifications in the chosen BA requirements tool(s).
  • Applies system and analytical thinking methodology and discipline.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at multiple levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong workflow and process mapping skills in clinical or operational settings, including direct observation of frontline work.
  • Experience contributing to business cases and total-cost-of-ownership analyses for equipment or automation investments.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate requirements accurately between non-technical operational staff and engineering teams.
  • Experience supporting site or environment assessments, capturing physical, infrastructure, and workflow constraints that shape technical solutions.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and monitoring work scope estimates and schedules.
  • Assessing and defining problems through root cause analysis and proactively bringing solutions to the table.
  • Reading, assessing, and interpreting vended solution architecture and translating into scope of work and technical specification requirements.
  • Understanding and helping define product implementation change management requirements.
  • Leading teams in a Product Owner capacity.
