As a Senior Tax Associate, you will work directly with clients across industries, assist with tax planning, and lead the preparation and review of tax returns. You will collaborate with managers and partners, supervise junior staff, and develop your technical expertise while helping clients meet tax compliance and planning needs.
Requirements
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- At least 5 years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with tax software such as UltraTax, Lacerte, or CCH Axcess.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Conduct tax research and provide technical support on complex tax issues.
- Assist with year-round tax planning for clients.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior staff and interns.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support effective communication.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulatory changes.
